Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival is back for another year, kicking off in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland yesterday (July 29th).
This year’s programme offers a fine and varied array of films, with superior sound and vision to home.
Sure, there’s plenty to while away the hours on streaming services, but if you just stay home, it can feel like home detention. We humans are social creatures, and benefit from social and communal experiences.
