Kicking off the hugely successful first instalment of the Headline Access Industry Rewards Program in May 2022 was The Release Cycle, which offered one emerging artist the opportunity to gain invaluable mentorship from influential Australian music industry names.

Among the panellists included Johann Ponniah of I OH YOU Records, and Johnny Took of DMA’s, The Orchard, with the Sydney session being hosted by journalist Mikey Cahill and music writer Sose Fuamoli, while the New Zealand event sees MC SLAVE from Fat Freddy’s Drop host.

In partnership with Muso, The Release Cycle saw winning artist YARA gain the support to record, mix, master and distribute an incoming single to the world (watch this space!).
