The world is getting a new Troye Sivan album this year.
Australia’s pop superstar today announced She’s the Best on social media, revealing his fourth studio album will arrive on October 9th.
Sivan will drop the title track as its lead single at midnight EST, according to his social media post. In the meantime, watch a teaser below.
The official announcement follows a series of cryptic teasers from Sivan.
Sivan previously directed fans to his official website alongside a video featuring the initials “STB”, a mailing list sign-up and an image of the singer in elaborate, theatrical makeup.
A day later, he shared photographs of himself, Addison Rae, and photographer Jamie Heath trying on a succession of brightly coloured wigs. “Stbbbbb,” he captioned the carousel, fuelling speculation that Rae may appear on the track, in its video or elsewhere in Sivan’s next project.
Sivan then made the acronym’s meaning clear. A new clip showed posters bearing the same “STB” monogram, the words “She’s the Best” and portraits of Sivan being pasted across a wall. “She’s The Best!!!!!!!!” he captioned the clip.

Sivan’s forthcoming album is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2023’s Something to Give Each Other, which delivered “Rush”, “Got Me Started” and “One of Your Girls”, earned Sivan three Grammy nominations, and won Album of the Year, Best Pop Release and Best Solo Artist at the 2024 ARIA Awards.
