Aotearoa chart sensations Fat Papi and prodshushy have a new home.
Warner Chappell Music has expanded its global roster by signing the rising stars to worldwide publishing deals.
The two agreements will encompass Fat Papi and prodshushy’s entire catalogue and future works, including their viral Billboard Hot 100 and Spotify Global Top 100 hit “FREAKED OUT”. Listen to the duo’s single below.
Fat Papi is a Kurdish rapper and songwriter raised in Aotearoa New Zealand, who’s been making a name for himself with his melodic hip-hop and synth-driven club production.
He teamed up with up-and-coming Papua New Guinea bedroom producer prodshushy for their breakthrough single “FREAKED OUT”, which has stormed the Official Aotearoa Music Charts.
“I’m incredibly excited to officially welcome Fat Papi and prodshushy to our global roster of songwriters and producers at Warner Chappell,” says Warner Chappell Music Australasia President Dan Rosen.
