The lineup for Lakes Festival 2026 is here.
The Ōtautahi Christchurch festival is returning for its sixth edition this December, taking over the city’s iconic Hagley Park.
“Escape the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary as Lakes Festival transforms the city into New Zealand’s ultimate destination for electronic music,” the press release states.
The first lineup is stacked, led by American superstar DJ Armand Van Helden, playing for the first time in Aotearoa New Zealand’s South Island.
Joining him are London-based duo X CLUB., quickly becoming one of Australia’s most exciting electronic exports, UK garage rising star Oppidan, UK drum & bass producer Break, and more.
From closer to home, iconic soul star Ladi6, Sin & Brook, and more will take to the stage at Lakes Festival 2026.
Following a well-received debut in 2025, Racket Club also returns to the tennis courts with another curated showcase of underground electronic music. Eurofreq, Hang The Saints, and Haven will host stage takeovers this year.

Tickets to Lakes Festival 2026 go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 15th at 5:30pm local time. A pre-sale will take place the previous day (July 14th) at 5:30pm local time (sign up here).
General admission tickets start from $189, while pre-sale tickets are a little cheaper at $179.
