Keli Holiday is riding a serious wave right now. Fresh off two sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne and a swagger-heavy Like A Version, Holiday — the solo project of Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde — has announced a national run in support of his upcoming second album Capital Fiction, out February 6th.

The tour kicks off in Sydney on March 6th before rolling through Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Fans can expect the full, sweat-drenched force of Holiday’s breakout hit “Dancing2”, which is still dominating viral charts and the ARIA Australian Singles Chart months after release, along with his latest single “Ecstasy”  — a fan-elected follow-up chosen through nearly 25,000 online votes.

“I can’t wait to present these songs from my album to a room of sweat and beauty,” Holiday says. “The best way to connect music to the listener is to have the room be the speaker, and the live performance of each song be the boat we all sit in together.”

“Ecstasy” continues Holiday’s throwback indie-dance streak, while “Dancing2” has become a runaway phenomenon, hitting No. 1 on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart, topping Spotify Viral charts across Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland, and reaching No. 2 in the UK.

The track also dominated TikTok, cracked the top 5 on Shazam, earned an ARIA nomination for Best Video, and netted Holiday a Music Artist of the Year nod at the upcoming TikTok Awards. It’s also an entirely independent release, debuting at No. 1 on the AIR Independent Singles Chart, where it’s stayed firmly for more than two months.

Both tracks will appear on Capital Fiction, ahead of what will be Holiday’s biggest headline tour yet — something he doesn’t take lightly.

“The live show is where I really get my kicks,” he says. “People finding my music on the internet is cool, but there’s no better feeling than giving it to them face to face, sweat to sweat, cheek to cheek. It’s called a show for a reason. It’s my duty to put on a show and get them loose and sweaty.”
