Japanese South Korea-based pop group XG are set to make a triumphant return to Australia in February 2025 as part of their debut world tour, ‘XG 1st WORLD TOUR The first HOWL’.
Frontier Touring and AEG Presents have announced two highly-anticipated headline shows that are sure to excite Aussie Alphaz, the group’s dedicated fanbase.
The seven-member group, consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, will perform at the ICC Sydney Theatre on Friday, February 14th and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Sunday, February 16th.
These shows mark XG’s return to Australia following their impressive debut showcase at SXSW Sydney 2023, where they headlined the Billboard Stage and wowed audiences with their explosive performances of hit tracks like “LEFT, RIGHT”, “TGIF”, and “GRL GVNG”.
Since their debut in 2022 with the breakout single “Tippy Toes”, XG have rapidly gained global recognition for their fresh, genre-bending approach to music and their goal of empowering young people worldwide. Their hip-hop and R&B-tinged sound, combined with impressive live performances, have positioned them as one of the most exciting emerging pop groups on the international stage.
XG’s unique position as a Japanese group based in South Korea, creating music primarily in English, has contributed to their global appeal. They’ve already made history as the first Japanese artists to reach No.1 on the U.S. Billboard chart and the first Japanese girl group to grace the cover of Billboard.
Fans eager to secure their spots at these shows should note the various pre-sale options. The XG ALPHAZ Fan Club pre-sale begins on Monday, November 25th at 11am local time, followed by the Frontier Member pre-sale on Tuesday, November 26th at 12pm local time. General ticket sales will commence on Wednesday, November 27th at 2pm local time.
