24 local acts will perform at the Going Global Artist showcase on August 29th and 30th at Tāmaki Makaurau’s new Double Whammy! and Whammy Bar.
This two-night event will feature a diverse mix of rising stars, each with tight, twenty-minute sets. Tickets are affordable, with options for double-night passes, showcasing talent from across the country.
The live events run alongside the Going Global Music Summit’s panel discussions at Roundhead Studios, featuring international booking agents, sync licensors, media experts, PR professionals, artist managers, and industry trailblazers in live and digital music.
Check out the full lineup below and stay tuned for the timetable. This event is presented by Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ) and the NZ Music Commission.
“We are at it again! 24 amazing bands across two nights, playing 20minute sets back-to-back-to-back, across three stages, all for a low ticket price…this is a party, a smorgasbord, a cornucopia of NZ artists blazing a trail across the night sky and having a damn good time doing it,” says IMNZ’s Dylan Pellett.
