Australian-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter RY X will return home for two headline shows in July 2027.
The Grammy-nominated artist, born Ry Cuming, will perform at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Wednesday, July 14th, before heading to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Monday, July 19th, with orchestra.
The shows will arrive alongside a new chapter for RY X, who is set to release his fourth studio album, DUSK, in early 2027.
The album’s first track, “Holy Water”, will be released this Thursday, September 10th.
The Australian dates follow RY X’s 2025 homecoming and will once again see him bring his atmospheric catalogue into an orchestral setting.
Over the course of his career, RY X has built a live show around ethereal vocals, live instrumentation and orchestral textures, performing around the world and collaborating with institutions including the LA Philharmonic and London Philharmonic.
His catalogue includes tracks such as “Berlin”, “Only”, “All I Have”, “Salt”, “Sweat”, “Let You Go”, “YaYaYa” and “Oceans”.

Outside his own releases, RY X has worked as a producer and songwriter with artists including Drake, Diplo, Black Coffee and John Legend. He has amassed more than one billion streams, earned platinum and gold records, performed at the Nobel Peace Prize and Notre Dame, and composed work for the Gothenburg Opera, Nederlands Dans Theater and a number of film projects.
Before the new single arrives, RY X will appear in Sydney this week as part of GAP Australia’s campaign launch. The singer-songwriter will perform at an exclusive live event at The Calyx in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden on Wednesday, September 9th, from 6pm.
