Megan Moroney is heading back to Australia, with the country star announcing a run of headline arena shows for May 2027.
Moroney will bring ‘The Cloud 9 Tour’ to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, May 8th, before heading to Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on Tuesday, May 11th and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday, May 14th.
It marks a sizeable step up for the Nashville singer-songwriter following her last Australian visit in 2025, when she appeared at Ridin’ Hearts Festival and played a Brisbane headline show that sold out within minutes.
The Australian dates arrive amid another major year for Moroney, who released her third studio album, Cloud 9, earlier in 2026.
Moroney first broke throug
h internationally with “Tennessee Orange”, the five-times platinum No. 1 single from her 2023 debut album Lucky. She followed it with Am I Okay?, which delivered the third-biggest Billboard 200 debut for a female country artist and spawned songs including the two-times platinum No. 1 title track and platinum-certified “No Caller ID”.
Her subsequent ‘Am I Okay? Tour’ sold out across the US and broke attendance records at multiple venues.

Cloud 9 has continued that momentum. The album won Album of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards and includes “6 Months Later”, “Beautiful Things: and “Wish I Didn’t”, alongside guest appearances from Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves.
Joining Moroney across the Australian tour will be fellow Nashville artist Laci Kaye Booth.
Booth was recently in Australia supporting Morgan Evans on his national tour and has continued to build momentum since the release of her 2024 debut album, The Loneliest Girl in the World.
Her 2025 single “Luck of the Draw” has amassed over eight million global streams, and delivered Booth her biggest first-day streaming debut on Spotify. She has also been named among CMT’s ‘Next Women of Country’ and Spotify’s ‘Artists to Watch’ for 2026.
Over the past year, Booth had made her Grand Ole Opry debut and toured alongside artists including Parker McCollum, Moroney and Ella Langley.
She will release her third album, Love Ain’t for the Faint of Heart, on September 18th before returning with Moroney for the Australian shows next year.
