The Western Australian Government, through Tourism Western Australia, has announced a new three-year agreement that will see Perth host weekend takeovers through to 2028.
The deal will include a Premium Live Event annually each year, including Wrestlepalooza: Perth on Saturday, December 12th.
The first WWE Weekend Takeover will see RAC Arena host SmackDown on Friday, December 11th, followed by Wrestlepalooza: Perth and Raw on Monday, December 14th.
The WWE last came to Perth in 2025 with the Crown Jewel event, which attracted tens of thousands at the Perth Arena and generated more than AUD $58 million for the state’s economy.
In addition to the live events, Perth will also play host to a range of WWE fan experiences throughout the city, including WWE Superstores, WWE Superstar meet-and-greets, community activities and more.
