Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update took on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 50-month sentencing, potential Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations at the Super Bowl, and the ongoing government shutdown, as well as other topics in the news since the late night show was last on the air in May.

“This week, the government finally represented the people when it just completely shut down,” co-anchor Colin Jost joked on the fourth day of the federal government ceasing non-essential operations.

“Honestly, didn’t it feel like the government needed a break? Just so we could all catch our breaths,” Jost added. “Can you believe we’re only nine months into this presidency? That means we only have three months and seven years remaining. I already tried fighting. I’m tired. I went to so many protests this summer, but it was finally worth it because we finally got them to change the Cracker Barrel logo back to my actual grandpa.”

Michael Che then addressed Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem both warning that ICE agents will be the Super Bowl after Puerto Rican rapper Bad BunnySNL‘s host—was announced as the halftime show performer.

ICE being at the Santa Clarita venue would be totally worth it, Che joked—”You know, to catch all those farm workers who can afford Super Bowl tickets.”

Later, Che commented on Combs’ sentencing for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The disgraced music mogul was acquitted in July of the three most serious charges, including racketeering.

Sean Combs was sentenced on Friday to four years in prison. I’ll be honest, it’s hard to watch someone I love get punished, but that’s what Diddy would do,” Che joked.

“During Sean Combs’ sentencing, he pleaded for mercy, saying that the things he did were disgusting, shameful and sick,” Che added. “In fact, just thinking about them makes him harder than grandma’s candy.”
