The election results are in and late-night TV hosts were ready with a slew of jokes. Several late-night shows addressed the blue wave that swept the country during the midterms, resulting in a huge rebuke for President Donald Trump.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel delighted in the Republicans’ big loss. “Last night Americans treated Donald Trump like he was the East Wing of the White House,” Kimmel recounted. “We did it! Transgender for everyone!”

He added that Trump is doing what he does best in the face of defeat: blaming everyone else and absolving himself of all responsibility. He recounted how Trump posted on social media, “I wasn’t on the ballot and if I was we would have won in a landslide.”

“Oh, shut up,” Kimmel replied. “Just shut up please. Give us a break for one day and shut that ridiculous mouth. You are such a spoiled child. Did you ever learn anything about manners or sportsmanship or simple common decency?”

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon joked that the Democrats celebrated by throwing “a huge victory party in Trump’s ballroom.” “The defeats were so bad this morning Trump didn’t even want to get out of his tanning bed,” he added. “It was a total blue wave caused by an orange president.”

Fallon added, “There’s going to be so many Republicans leaving the Capitol it’ll look like a reverse Jan. 6.”

On Late Night, Seth Meyers recapped Trump’s inclination to shift the blame after the results came in. “I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you were on the fucking ballot my man,” Meyers reminded Trump. “Your name might not have been there, but it’s not like everyone forgot who was president. You did like 30 rallies in the month leading up to the midterms. You wouldn’t shut up. You kept talking about how good senators’ asses were. You made the whole thing about you.”
