Ashley Tisdale, whose celebrity mom group essay published in The Cut earlier this year launched a tabloid frenzy, is turning the mama drama into a Netflix show.

The former High School Musical and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star is working with Sabrina Jalees (Mating Season, Search Party) and Ali Wong (Always Be My Maybe, Beef) for the project, according to Deadline. Jales, who is writing the show, will also executive produce alongside Tisdale and Wong. Per the outlet, if the comedy turns into a series, Wong may take the helm and direct.

Described by Deadline as a “dark half-hour comedy,” Toxic Moms is set to tell the tale of a “sleep-deprived new mom who’s drawn into a clique of cool, wealthy mothers” and will ask the question: “in the isolation of motherhood, how far would you go to taste community?”

The show appears to mirror parts of Tisdale’s article, titled “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group,” in which she details finding a community of mothers who are “building brands, running their own companies, launching creative projects,” only to be later iced out of group hangs and positioned in unfavourable seats at the dinner table.

Of course, internet sleuths quickly attempted to suss out the members of the purported mom group, which is presumed to include famous names such as Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, Mandy Moore, and more.

Following news of Tisdale’s new show landing at Netflix, the actress-producer reposted Deadline‘s article on her Instagram, tagging Wong and Jales alongside the succinct caption: “I guess we can all be a little toxic.
