'The Sound' announces its third episode of season two with a litany of acclaimed names from the Aussie music industry.
Thelma Plum will make her long-awaited return to the live stage next week with a special one-off show in Brisbane.
The Grand Final will also feature Wolfmother's Andrew Stockdale, Sheppard, and Electric Fields featuring Thelma Plum and Busby Marou.
The new track is set to appear on Briggs' newly-announced EP, Always Was, which will arrive later in the month.
One year on from the release of her groundbreaking debut Better in Blak, Thelma Plum is set to release a special edition of the record.
Thelma Plum's cover of the Aussie classic comes alongside the rescheduling of her national tour, which will now kick off in November.
Following a massive year which saw 'Better in Blak' hit the top five on the ARIA charts, Thelma Plum spoke to Rolling Stone about what lead to this point, and the importance of representation.
"'Idiot' is about being powerless in your attachment to someone, indulging compulsive and destructive habits, feeling frustrated,” Kira Puru explained.
"I cannot wait to return and take my little band family and the wonderful Kira Puru on the road for the “Homecoming Queen Tour”," said Thelma Plum.
