"I love seeing people having a good time and loving each other. No one's having punch-ons, everyone's getting along and singing and having a good time."
"Consider this a raincheck," Falls Festival organisers said in a statement shared this morning.
Falls Festival will not hold an event in Marion Bay, Tasmania for the first time since it ventured outside of Victoria in 2003.
Ken West's comments on festivals come after Falls Festival announced their plans for a "home grown" event, while Michael Chugg labelled Splendour's October return as "ambitious".
Industry veteran Michael Chugg has claimed festivals like Splendour in the Grass are "ambitious" in plotting such an early return.
"Our team is moving ahead and we hope we’ll be seeing you all in December/January for an all Aussie edition of Falls Festival," organisers explained.
