Gallery: Jack Daniel’s Live At Last with San Cisco
Ever since it was first announced back in early March that the Jack Daniel’s‘ Live At Last series was set to take over venues across Australia in April, fans knew they were in for something special. But of course, to really appreciate how special this experience was set to be, you had to be there in person to soak up all the action.
That’s exactly what happened for us recently when Fremantle’s San Cisco took over Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall for a show that fans won’t soon forget.
Supported by fellow musical icons Wafia and merci, mercy, the gig was always set to be special right from the very start. Armed with more than a decade of infectious indie-pop hits, San Cisco were not only well-positioned to entrance and enthral all in attendance, but also backed by two of the finest pop artists on the Aussie music scene today.
The result was a mesmerising experience that reminded local music fans just what they had been missing in these past two years, and gave fans a chance to hear some of the brilliant tunes from San Cisco’s most recent record which didn’t quite get the live treatment they would’ve deserved thanks to COVID.
Whether it be leading fans in numerous cathartic singalongs or just ensuring that the entire night was nothing but hits, San Cisco made it clear that Jack Daniel’s Live At Last tour was one of the most memorable live concert events in recent months.
In addition to San Cisco, Jack Daniel’s Live At Last tour also included shows from Pond in Maroochydore, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets in Sydney, and Ruby Fields in Melbourne.
Proceeds from Jack Daniel’s Live At Last ticket sales are going to Support Act, the music industry charity that provides crisis relief services to musicians, managers, crew, and other industry personnel.
