Grammy nominated producer and DJ ZHU is returning to Australia for the first time since 2018.
He’s just announced headline shows set for Sydney’s Roundhouse on Thursday, April 2nd, and Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Sunday, April 5th.
Tickets will go on sale at 1pm (local) on Thursday, March 5th. A Mastercard presale will run from 12pm (local) on Monday, March 2nd, before a Live Nation presale at 1pm (local) on Wednesday, March 4th – sign up here.
Making his presence known to the world with his 2014 single “Faded”, ZHU has established himself as one of dance music’s most coveted artists.
Renowned for his distinctive genre‑blurring production, he has continued to evolve with his new album BLACK MIDAS set for release on April 24th – marking a bold new chapter in his ever‑expanding sonic world. It accompanies his nightlife warehouse concept BLACKLIZT, creating an album of compelling dancefloor tracks.
For BLACK MIDAS, ZHU returns to his roots and transports listeners into a different world by creating tracks around late night narratives through sounds, emotions, words and energy. The productions range from deep house to melodic techno and feature collaborations with an array of underground and emerging artists.
Beyond being a DJ and producer, many fans associate ZHU with being a live performer, singer and instrumentalist.
