UPDATE: Zara Larsson has upgraded several Australian venues and added a new show in Auckland.
If you tried to snag tickets to Zara Larsson’s Australian ‘Midnight Sun’ tour today (February 12th) during the Live Nation presale, you might have been met with a cold, confusing wall: “Restricted.” But not to worry – more shows are on the way.
Australian fans reported being unable to access the presale, with many encountering error messages or being blocked from the purchase process entirely, despite following all instructions for My Live Nation account access, raising questions about what went wrong during the presale.
Screenshots and video clips circulating on social media show users being unable to enter the ticket queue, or being told their “access has been restricted”, sparking widespread frustration online.

Following the massive demand, Larsson has added an additional date in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, and has upgraded her Adelaide venue. These dates join her previously announced shows in Brisbane on October 14th, Sydney on October 15th, and Melbourne on October 17th. See the full list of dates and venues below.
UPDATE: Larsson has since upgraded the venues for the additional Melbourne and Sydney shows to Rod Laver Arena and Qudos Bank Arena, respectively. She has also upgraded her Perth show to RAC Arena. Larsson has also added a new show, where she is set to make her New Zealand debut at Auckland’s Spark Arena on October 25th.

Tickets for Auckland and the upgraded Australian venues go on sale at 1pm (local) on Wednesday, February 18th.
A presale for eligible Mastercard, Vodafone, and My Live Nation members will start at 4pm (local) today (February 12th) and end at 9am (local) tomorrow (February 13th). General on sale will begin at 10am (local) tomorrow.
In a note to Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Ticketek wished to remind fans that using more than one device or browser, or having multiple tabs open, may trigger bot protection and could remove you from the queue.
The tour comes in support of Larsson’s 2025 album Midnight Sun, which ripples with confidence and trust. The album set the stage for her, allowing her to pivot following a lull in momentum to a vibrant new era. After an unexpected TikTok resurgence of her 2017 hit “Symphony” via the viral dolphin meme, she leaned into colourful, Y2K-inspired visuals and maximalist fashion that now define her current aesthetic, both in music and performance.
Embracing this internet culture moment and pairing it with confident, self-directed artistry, helped Larsson reclaim attention and fuel a renewed pop presence. Midnight Sun is unafraid to show all sides of the 27-year-old: lovestruck, wistful, ambitious, cocky, flippant, and uncertain, often in the same breath.
Following on from Zara’s first three albums (2017’s So Good, 2021’s Poster Girl, and 2024’s Venus), the album builds upon her legacy while taking things back to her roots.
