Just over a week on from announcing the lineup for its next event, Wollongong’s Yours & Owls Festival has announced that all tickets for their stacked 2021 edition have sold out.
Unveiling their lineup last week, Yours & Owls came at a perfect time for the gig-starved music scene. With gigs feeling like ancient history, and with festivals being cancelled as quickly as they’re announced, punters have been crying out for something to help get them through this period of musical darkness.
While Yours & Owls would traditionally be held in October, organisers explained in early June that they would be moving festivities forward to the more realistic period of late January. Now, with the likes of Tones And I, BENEE, Lime Cordiale, DMA’S, Hockey Dad, and much more, Yours & Owls will serve as the oasis of local music in this year of deserted stages.
With pre-sales kicking off on Wednesday, and tickets going on sale to the general public on Thursday, excitement for the upcoming return of festival season has been so great that the 2021 edition of Yours & Owls has officially sold out within a day.
Serving as a testament to the festival’s lineup, their commitment to delivering a world-class event, and how eager fans are to see the return of live music, Yours & Owls looks set to be one of the most anticipated festivals in some time.
Of course, despite all the excitement, organisers note that they will be working with local health advisors until the gates open in order to ensure they are operating within the proper health guidelines required in January of 2021.
