Your Paradise Fiji is on track to serve as one of the year’s biggest and best destination festivals, announcing the stacked lineup for its December 2022 event today.
Described as “one of the most coveted music destination events in the world” and lead by Australian organisers, Your Paradise Fiji has been on the calendar since 2014, with seven editions of the masterful festival helping to turn Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands into the place to see some of the world’s best artists.
Set to return to the Fijian islands between December 10th and 16th this year, the 2022 edition of Your Paradise Fiji is already shaping up to be one of their best festivals to date, dropping their stacked lineup today. Kicking things off atop the bill is none other than Brazilian melodic house hitmaker Vintage Culture, who is joined by the likes of Anjunadeep icon Ben Böhmer, Belgian drum and bass producer Netsky, and supreme crate digger Cinthie.
Add in other huge names such as Sam Divine, Willo, Netsky, Qrion, Holy Goof, and Jody Wisternoff, and it’s clear that Your Paradise Fiji isn’t doing things by half measures. However, where the festival is really ticking the boxes is when it comes to the Aussie representation.
Yes, local artists such as Choomba, Luude, and Kito all make the grade, as does Crooked Colours (who are performing a DJ set), Skegss, electropop quartet Pirra, and even basketballer-turned-globally-recognised-musician Liz Cambage.
Meanwhile, the lineup also boasts a number of takeovers and parties, including those from the likes of Vintage Culture and Anjunadeep, and other recognised names such as Brownies & Lemonades and Aussie label Sweat It Out.
Set amongst the gorgeous natural beauty of Fiji, Your Paradise stays true to its legacy is built off placing some of the world’s most exciting artists in totally unique settings, and continues to raise the bar, hosting iconic day parties at the iconic mid-ocean Cloud 9 and Catamaran voyage, onwards to a private island beach club, and various beachside surprises around the event’s two home resorts.
And of course, that’s exactly where Your Paradise finds its point of difference as compared to other festivals. In addition to its stellar lineup, the festival also boasts all the first-rate activities the island resort has in store like snorkelling and scuba diving, surf trips to the world renowned Cloudbreak, and cultural tours allowing guests to experience local Fijian culture. Attendees are also invited to take part in various yoga and meditation offerings throughout the week, helping to complement the intense dancefloor moments with the purpose of rejuvenation.
Meanwhile, Your Paradise also looks to further its connection with its local community and habitat, having become an official member of The Environment Mamanuca Environment Society of Fiji (MES), a non-profit organisation founded by local businesses and communities to champion and support environmental protection of the Mamanuca area of Fiji’s west coast.
The partnership also aims to help attendees regarding environmental issues that impact the local habitat, all while instigating action via volunteer programs and workshops.
As part of the event program guests will be able to participate in a number of paid wellness add-ons with the proceeds donated to the MES. And encouraged to join Your Paradise staff and volunteers in carbon offset activities, including mangrove tree planting. The goal of this newly created programming is for every guest to leave the event with a newfound awareness of the fragility of this beautiful part of the world.
With the Your Paradise Fiji lineup released into the world, tickets to the world-class destination festival will be on sale soon. Of course, eager festival-goers are urged to get in quick, given that with only 600 spots available, space is extremely limited to what is on track to be one of the most electrifying, yet intimate festival experiences you’ll ever find.
