Wu-Tang Clan are in the midst of their farewell tour of Australia, but fans have been left scratching their heads as some members have not made the trip over.

The Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour was billed to have “all members” of the iconic hip hop group together on stage; however, that has not come to fruition. After kicking off the run in Brisbane on Wednesday night, some concertgoers took to social media to claim that Method Man, Raekwon, Cappadonna and Young Dirty Bastard were all absent from the performance.

Rolling Stone AU/NZ was at the show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Friday night and can confirm the same four rappers did not appear.

Though it appears Wu-Tang Clan shared an Instagram story earlier in the week advising that Method Man would not be coming to Australia, they have yet to address the other members.

In an email sent to fans heading to the Melbourne gig and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, seen by Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Ticketek responded to the previously unannounced lineup changes.

“We want to make fans aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, a couple of members will be unable to join the remaining tour dates in Melbourne and Sydney,” the statement reads.

“Wu-Tang Clan will be performing and bringing everything that has made them one of the most iconic live acts in hip-hop history.”
