Australia’s most diverse, eclectic and surprising festival, WOMADelaide, has revealed the first 49 artists set to delight audiences in 2026, including Yothi Yinda, Obongjayar, Marlon Williams, and many more.
The 29th edition of the festival is taking place from March 6th-9th, embarking on a musical journey from Bhutan to the Kimberleys, Cuba, Ukraine, and more.
Iconic Australian brand Yothu Yinda will celebrate 35 years of Tribal Voice, while Nigerian, London-based Obongjayar, who featured on the Fred again.. smash hit “adore u”, will bring his Afro-funk Down Under. New Zealand’s Marlon Williams will appear, complete with Kapa Haka group Ngā Mātai Pūrua, while fans will be treated to the spiritual jazz and South Asian classical music of Indian-American Ganavya.
Also on the bill are 82-year-old First Nations gospel singer Kankawa Nagarra, Cuban Grammy-nominee and former Buena Vista Social Club member Roberto Fonseca, Scandinavian female folk group Åkervinda, Palestinian DJ Sama’ Abdulhadi (who is returning after seven years), and soul sensation Jalen Ngonda, fresh from his Glastonbury performance.
Australian exclusives include renowned Belgian choreographer and dancer, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker’s ground breaking dance work Rosas danst Rosas, Daughters of Donbas (Ukraine/Canada). and Orange Blossom (France), as well as the festival’s first Bhutanese artists, Bhutan Balladeers.
These artists join the recently announced Yolngu rapper and dancer Baker Boy, American singer-songwriter Iron & Wine, Irish folk band Beoga, and ABC’s Pacific Break winner, Mantis from Vanuatu.

Since 1992, WOMADelaide — an extraordinary festival of the world of music, arts and dance — has attracted thousands of visitors from across the country to Adelaide’s Botanic Park. No two lineups are ever the same and audiences come not only for the music, but to immerse themselves in the full festival experience.
The 2026 edition will see the return of programs including Taste the World, the WoMarkets, KidZone, Planet Talks sessions, and The Sanctuary Restaurant. It will also feature the Around the Park program, with various creative performances.
