Australia’s biggest celebration of homegrown music is back. The 2025 Rolling Stone Australia Awards return in 2025, once again spotlighting the best and brightest artists who have defined the sound of the past year.

On April 9th, Sydney’s iconic The Ivy will transform into a music-lover’s haven, playing host to a night dedicated to honouring the game-changers of the Aussie music scene. From electrifying newcomers to seasoned icons, the Rolling Stone Australia Awards are where the industry’s elite and its rising stars collide.

This year’s awards will feature six powerhouse categories: Best LP or EP, Best Single, Best New Artist, Best Live Act, the Global Award, and the prestigious Icon Award.
Past winners have included the likes of Genesis Owusu, Amyl and the Sniffers, Tones and I, and The Kid LAROI – so expect a lineup packed with boundary-pushing talent.
This year, the Readers’ Choice Award returns, and to celebrate, we’re giving 10 lucky readers the chance to score a double pass to the most exclusive music event of the year.
