Less than 48 hours before the arrival of Tyler, the Creator’s new album Chromakopia, the rapper has shared another preview with the video for “Thought I Was Dead.”

The visual, once again directed by Tyler, is the third sample from Chromakopia ahead its Oct. 28 release date, following “St. Chroma” and “Noid.”

As Tyler previously revealed on social media, Chromakopia will arrive on both an untraditional day (Monday) and an untraditional time (6 a.m. EST). “You can listen to it when you wake up,” the rapper wrote. “You don’t have to deprive yourself of sleep for something that is going to be there when you wake up.”

Tyler, the Creator also announced that he’ll host an album playback of Chromakopia at Los Angeles’ new Intuit Dome on Sunday, hours before the album comes out. “I will not be performing,” Tyler warned of the $5-per-ticket event. “I will be standing in the middle of the venue lip syncing to the new sounds.”

Fans hoping to see Tyler actually perform can do so on his upcoming Chromakopia World Tour, which kicks off in February 2025 and boasts support from Lil Yachty and Paris Texas.

Chromakopia marks Tyler, the Creator’s first album in three years, following his Grammy-wining 2021 effort, Call Me If You Get Lost. (Last year, he dropped an expanded edition, The Estate Sale, which featured eight additional songs.)

Tyler, the Creator is set to bring his ‘CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR’ to Australia and New Zealand in 2025, wrapping up his global tour with a series of shows across the region.

The tour, in support of his highly anticipated eighth album CHROMAKOPIA, which drops on October 28th, will also feature special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas.

The tour will kick off at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Monday, August 18th, before heading to Melbourne for two dates at Rod Laver Arena on August 22nd and 23rd. Sydney follows with two shows at Qudos Bank Arena on August 26th and 27th, then Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on August 30th, and concluding with a final show at Perth’s RAC Arena on September 4th.

This marks Tyler’s first tour down under since his 2022 visit, where he headlined shows in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne and performed at Splendour in the Grass.
