It looks like Two Door Cinema Club are returning Down Under.

The Northern Irish trio have teased a potential Australian and New Zealand tour via social media, posting a video of a cat holding a passport, accompanied by a cryptic caption. While details are yet to be confirmed, an official announcement is expected to be made at 7am (AEDT) tomorrow (March 19th).

You can assume the tour will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album Tourist History, which they recently announced North American dates for. That run will begin on September 24th, and will see Two Door Cinema Club play the album in full, alongside several of their other greatest hits.

The 2010 debut features some of the band’s most iconic songs, including “What You Know” (which has over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone), “Undercover Martyr”, and “Something Good Can Work”.

While Tourist History only peaked at No. 44 on the ARIA Albums Chart, it became a defining indie release of the era in Australia, steadily building a devoted following through triple j airplay and festival runs including Laneway.

The band were last on these shores in 2024 for a co-headline tour with Declan McKenna. The tour included stops in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong, the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Newcastle.
