Travis have locked in a very special guest for their long-awaited Australian return, with acclaimed singer-songwriter Josh Pyke set to join the band on their ‘The Man Who In Concert’ tour in January 2026.
The run, announced earlier this year, will see the Scottish rock icons perform their landmark 1999 album The Man Who in full, alongside a set of favourites pulled from across their catalogue. In Australia, the album was a genuine slow-burn success story, going platinum and selling more than 110,000 copies on the back of songs like “Why Does It Always Rain on Me?”, “Driftwood”, and “Writing to Reach You”.
Pyke’s addition to the bill brings serious local firepower. Over more than two decades, he’s become one of the country’s most enduring storytellers, from his debut EP Feeding the Wolves to his ARIA-winning breakthrough Memories & Dust. Across seven Top 10 ARIA albums, he’s racked up gold and platinum accreditations while quietly cementing himself as a festival and theatre favourite.
Fresh from celebrating the 20th anniversary of Feeding the Wolves with a sold-out national tour, Pyke will bring a rich songbook into these rooms. Expect sing-alongs to staples like “Middle of the Hill”, “The Summer”, and “The Lighthouse Song” before Travis take the stage.
Travis’ ‘The Man Who In Concert’ shows land in January 2026, kicking off at Metropolis Fremantle on Thursday, January 8th, before heading to Festival Hall, Melbourne on Saturday, January 10th, Hindley Street Music Hall, Adelaide on Monday, January 12th, ICC Theatre, Sydney on Wednesday, January 14th, and wrapping at The Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane on Friday, January 16th.
