Tones And I is set to give fans a special treat this week, recently announcing a YouTube livestream performance set to take place on Thursday.
Announced yesterday, the Melbourne artist revealed that she will be performing a number of songs from her home on Thursday, with the broadcast kicking off from 12PM AEST. Urging fans to “stay at home and hang with me”, it is undoubtedly on track to be one of the biggest livestreams to date, given the massive year that Toni Watson has had.

While her breakout single “Dance Monkey” has managed to top charts around the world, it recently became the most-streamed song on Spotify for a female artist, while earlier this year saw the track recognised for surpassing a billion streams.
In addition to these highlights, Tones recently shared two singles, and served as a major addition to the Music From the Home Front televised livestream concert that took place over the weekend.
Though a run of national dates was originally slated to kick off recently, beginning with a spot on the Groovin the Moo festival lineup, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has caused these dates to be pushed forward to September, with tickets selling fast.
Tones And I is also set to grace the cover of the debut issue of Rolling Stone Australia when it launches next month.
In this eight-page cover feature, featuring exclusive photography by Giulia McGauran (GG McG) and a poster, Rolling Stone Australia spent time at Tones’ home, met with her friends, and was a fly on the wall backstage at one of Australia’s biggest festivals.
In our deep-dive into the phenomenon that is Tones And I, Rolling Stone Australia takes a privileged look inside the world of an artist whose rise to fame is yet to be – and may never be – eclipsed.
