The best-selling US female group of all-time are coming to Australia and New Zealand.
TLC will tour the two countries next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic second album, CrazySexyCool, taking in stops in Auckland, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth in February and March (see full dates below). They’ll be joined by special guests Busta Rhymes and En Vogue.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 7th at 1pm local time. The Live Nation pre-sale begins on Monday, December 4th at 11am local time, while the Partner pre-sale begins on Monday, December 4th at 11am local time.
TLC – Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas will perform hits from their 1994 Diamond-certified album (“Waterfalls” will, of course, be played), as well as some other classic cuts from throughout their distinguished career.
“I’m so excited to return to Australia! This is the album that put us on the map with Aussie fans and showed the world who we really are. And to mark 30 years, this will be quite the celebration!” says Chilli.
As well as “Waterfalls”, CrazySexyCool also contained other fan favourites like “Creep”. The album was a huge success in Australia, reaching the top five on the ARIA Albums Chart and remaining in the top 100 for an impressive 76 weeks.
Elsewhere in their career, TLC won four Grammy Awards, and their influence across R&B, pop, and fashion has spanned generations.
