The Others Way Has Dropped Its Full Artist Schedule

The Others Way is taking over K Road with a stacked lineup of artists, and now we know where and when to find them.

Tamai Makarau’s favourite street fest is taking place in ten short days, with a banger of a 2025 lineup set to take over the Karangahape Road precinct on Saturday, November 29 — and now we know exactly where and when to find each act.

The festival is almost totally sold out, but those who are lucky enough to have already sorted their attendance now have everything they need to plan their route through the festival. You’ll have no shortage of choice — the organisers previously have stated that festivalgoers can “expect the whole dang block between Queen Street and Pitt Street to transform into the party of your dreams, with our main stage landing right near the Rainbow crossing.”

So where can you find the headliners? The Heavenly Pop Main Stage is hosting a few headliners, including the grand return of Connan Mockasin at 6.40pm, followed by HDU just after 7pm, Saya Gray at 8.20pm and Sharon Van Etten at 9.30pm.

It’s not just street stages either, K Road’s many gig venues are getting involved too. The award-winning Jim Nothing is taking to the stage at Double Whammy at 6.20pm, Toody Cole will play in Galatos at 8.50, and Florist will perform in the Pitt St Church at 7.40pm.

Last year’s edition of The Others Way delivered a stacked lineup: Taite Music Prize nominee Erny Belle, psych-pop purveyors Soaked Oats, and indie-rock multi-instrumentalist Ladyhawke all drew packed crowds. From overseas came Parquet Courts frontman A. Savage, indie songwriter Andy Shauf, Aussie jazz fusion group Mildlife, and Dean & Britta performing the dream-pop gems of Galaxie 500.

The Others Way has received rave reviews from us before: “Being able to hear such a variety of acts and genres and styles all playing along Karangahape Road’s precinct over one day is something that should never be taken for granted.”
