Aussie music legends The Living End are the latest act to join the bill for the ongoing Coopers’ Live, Loud & Local series.

Having kicked off their first event in late April, the Coopers’ Live, Loud & Local series sees local Aussie artists teaming up with Coopers to play a dearly-missed live set for their fans via livestream, co-presented by Live Nation.

While Illy headlined the first event, the mighty James Reyne topped the bill for the second edition. Now, The Living End are the latest group to join the series.

Kicking off on Friday, May 8th, the festivities will take place at Byron Bay’s The Northern, hosted by Joel Creasey and Myf Warhurst, and broadcast live via Coopers’ and The Nothern’s Facebook Pages.

Friday evening will see Chef Shannon Bennett demonstrating how to cook his take on a Byron BBQ Jerk Chicken with Rice, Jimi from Quiz Meisters hosting a Byron-focused trivia, and Creasey will revisit his “Love Letters from ISO”.

Saturday, May 9th will see Creasey and Warhust hosting The Bandroom, and will feature local support act preceding a performance from Aussie music icons The Living End, who will undoubtedly reignite a desire to see live gigs return to Australian stages.

The performances will feature an interactive element to them as well, with Coopers giving away jugs of beer and meals at pubs in an effort to get punters heading back to venues once their doors reopen, along with spot prizes of delivery options.

Meanwhile, product and merchandise giveaways are also on the cards, so for more information, be sure to head along to the Coopers Local website, and visit either Coopers’ or The Northern’s Facebook pages on Friday and Saturday evening to take part in the festivities.

The Living End’s eighth album, Wunderbar, was released in September of 2018, with the group touring relentlessly since then, including a spot on the Red Hot Summer festival earlier this year.
