The Kid Laroi‘s The First Time tour is heading to North America. On Monday, the musician announced a slate of tour dates scheduled for May, June, and July 2024 in support of his debut album, The First Time, released in November 2023.
Following the completion of the tour’s previously announced European leg in April, Laroi will head stateside with an opening performance in Vancouver on May 18. The rapper and singer will make stops in Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, New York, Toronto, Cincinnati, Detroit, and more. The tour will wrap with a closing show in Omaha on July 10.
Glaive and Chase Shakur will provide support across the North American dates. General sale for The First Time tour will begin on Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. Pre-sales will run throughout the week beginning Tuesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. local time.
Laroi chronicled the creation of The First Time, as well as some time he spent on the road, in the recently released Prime Video documentary Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named Laroi. The film explored the 20-year-old’s experience with lingering grief, adjusting to fame, and finding support and mentorship in the music industry.
“Money, fame, dreams coming true — that doesn’t resolve problems. It doesn’t stop them from happening. If anything, they just come on a bigger scale,” he explains in the film. “But I do tell myself every day, ‘Be grateful. Look at what you’ve got. Be Happy.’”
