As The Kid LAROI continues his streak as one of the most popular artists in the world of popular music, he’s once again teamed up with fellow superstar Justin Bieber to release the new track, “Stay”.
Officially released today, “Stay” arrives just over one month shy from the Waterloo artist’s 18th birthday, and comes just one month after the announcement that the Kid LAROI had joined the management roster of Scooter Braun. Fittingly, the track sees the Australian sensation again teaming up with another of Braun’s managerial efforts, with both the Kid LAROI and Bieber having collaborated on “Unstable” from the latter’s Justice album in March.
Having teased the track over the previous weeks, “Stay” is undoubtedly one that lives up the hype, with the Kid LAROI’s trademark vocals and lyrics of unrequited love sitting atop a driving instrumental before being joined by Bieber for a guest verse and final chorus.
The official arrival of “Stay” comes just weeks after the Kid LAROI teased the arrival of a new project ostensibly titled FUCKLOV3. Having made mention of the project in a since-deleted Instagram post last month, it was paired with mention of a July release date.
While no further information has been made available at this time, it’s unclear currently whether or not “Stay” will be released as part of his FUCKLOV3, or if it will remain a standalone single. What is clear though, is that the Kid LAROI will undoubtedly be continuing his hot streak for some time to come, so be sure to stay tuned.
