The Kid LAROI Blocked From Top Debut on ARIA Chart by Olivia Dean

The KID LAROI has impressed with his new album, Before I Forget, on the ARIA charts this week.

The Sydney artist’s second album has landed at No. 1 on the Australian Albums chart and No. 2 on the ARIA Albums list, only behind Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving.

The Kid LAROI previously reached No. 1 in 2021 with his debut EP Fuck Love and No. 3 in 2023 with his first solo effort, The First Time.

Meanwhile, Dean’s album, which has held top spot for s seventh non-consecutive week, is now the longest running No. 1 album by an English female artist since Adele’s 30, which also spent seven weeks on top in 2021-22.

US country star Zach Bryan’s With Heaven On Top has debuted at No. 4, while Melbourne singer-songwriter has placed at No. 17 with her debut album, Feel Alive. The record also debuted at No. 2 on the Australian Albums chart.

Over on the Singles chart, Dean’s “Man I Need” stays on top for a ninth straight week and is now the longest running No. 1 by a solo female artist since Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” held the title for 12 weeks in early 2023.
