Tate McRae may be feeling greedy about 2025. The pop star will release her third album, So Close to What, on Feb. 21, then follow it with a 50-date world tour.
According to a release, So Close to What will chart “the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels infinite.” She kicked off the LP cycle with the single “It’s ok I’m ok.” She’ll release her new single “2 hands” tonight, just hours after announcing the album.
In March, McRae will kick off her Miss Possessive Tour with a headlining gig at Mexico City’s Pepsi Centre. The trek will span North America, South America, Europe, and the U.K., with a few festival spots along the way. Zara Larsson will open for McRae in the Americas, while Benee will join her for Europe and the U.K.
The 21-year-old released her debut album, I Used to Think I Could Fly, in 2022. She followed it with the even bigger Think Later, which she dropped in December 2023. Think Later spawned two massive hits for the Canadian pop star: “Greedy” and “Exes.”
