Tame Impala have teased a remix of their hit single “Dracula” featuring Blackpink’s Jennie.
Kevin Parker, the creative force behind Tame Impala, shared a brief clip on social media this morning (February 4th) teasing the collaboration, due out this Friday, February 6th, simply captioned “Surprise… Friday 🩸.”
Fans had been speculating about a collaboration for days prior to the teaser. Clues included a subtle edit to the original “Dracula” music video description on YouTube, where a line previously reading “My friends are saying ‘shut up Kevin just get in the car'” was changed to replace Parker’s name with Jennie’s.
Odd Atelier, Jennie’s independent label, also shared a cryptic pre-save link on social media without additional context. Parker had also been photographed by a fan wearing official Jennie merchandise, adding to the rumours.
Originally released in September 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album Deadbeat, “Dracula” has become one of the band’s most successful tracks to date. The disco and electropop single marked Tame Impala’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a standout in triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2025, where it came in at third.

Meanwhile, Jennie – best known as a member of global K-pop powerhouse Blackpink – has steadily built an impressive solo career. She first broke out as a solo artist with her debut single “Solo” in 2018 – a dance-pop and hip-hop song that became a landmark release for a Korean soloist by topping charts domestically and making waves internationally, including over 500 million streams on Spotify.
After continuing to explore her individual sound with performances and appearances, Jennie entered a new era by establishing her own label, Odd Atelier, and partnering with Columbia Records. Under this new independent banner, she released her debut studio album Ruby in March last year.
The 15-track collection blends pop and R&B, and features collaborations with artists like Dominic Fike, Doechii, Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, and FKJ, anchored by singles such as “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” “ExtraL,” and “Seoul City.”
