International K-Pop sensation Stray Kids have announced their return to Australia.

The octet will perform two major stadium shows on their world tour to support their new album, ATE.

The tour kicks off at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Saturday, October 19th, followed by Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday, October 26th.

General public tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 31st, with Melbourne sales starting at 1pm and Sydney at 2pm. A Live Nation pre-sale starts on Tuesday, July 30th, with Melbourne tickets available from 1pm and Sydney tickets from 2pm.

Stray Kids released their new mini-album ATE and the title track “Chk Chk Boom”.

The group previously sold out four shows in Melbourne and Sydney in February 2023, adding an additional two dates due to demand.

Local artist Troye Sivan is also a fan, having collaborated with  Stray Kids’ Hyunjin with a remix of his summer anthem “Rush”, which also features PinkPantheress.

Sivan first stumbled across Stray Kids member Hyunjin on TikTok, saying, “I deep-dived and was like, ‘this guy is insanely talented.’” During a chat with Apple Music’s Travis Mills, Sivan said that he would jump at a chance to collaborate with Hyunjin.

“That would be so sick,” he told Mills, who noted that the comment section on his TikToks have been filled with people wishing for a collaboration. “I would do that in a heartbeat.”

An Aussie tour is always a special homecoming for members Bang Chan and Felix, who were both raised in Sydney before moving to Korea to join the band.

Stray Kids are coming off a blockbuster 2023, having been crowned Top K-Pop Album winners at the 2023 BBMAs and Best K-Pop winners at the 2023 VMAs with their full-length album 5-STAR. The group also won “Group of the Year” at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and “K-Pop Album of the Year” at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

They twice topped the US Billboard 200 with their mini-albums ODDINARY (which also hit number one on the Billboard Artist 100 Chart) and MAXIDENT. They were the only artists to debut two albums at number one on the US Billboard 200 this year and the first to do so since Taylor Swift in 2021.
