The Split Enz reunion just got a lot bigger.
The legendary New Zealand band — featuring Tim and Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner, and Noel Crombie — recently confirmed they were reuniting for an exclusive performance at Christchurch festival Electric Avenue.
And Live Nation today announced that Split Enz will follow that performance up with an Australian tour in May, which will see them play shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Adelaide (see full dates below).
Formed in New Zealand in 1972 before relocating to Australia three years later, Split Enz are widely regarded as one of the most important Antipodean bands of the last five decades.
Their last live outing on Aussie shores came at 2009’s Sound Relief concert at the MCG. Split Enz were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005.
Tickets to their upcoming tour go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 17th at 12pm local time. The partner pre-sale begins on Wednesday, November 12th at 11am local time, while the Live Nation pre-sale begins on Friday, November 14th at 12pm local time.
The band will be joined by Matt Eccles on drums and James Milne on bass. At the time of writing, it’s unclear if their tour shows will have support acts. Split Enz will also headline Bluesfest 2026 next year.
