As they get ever-closer to the release of their forthcoming fifth album this October, Los Angeles trio Together Pangea have continued their run of slick tracks with the arrival of new single, “Nervous”.
Having first appeared on the scene over a decade ago, it didn’t take long for Together Pangea to start turning heads with their fuzzy alt-rock/garage punk stylings, quickly amassing a following thanks to their immediate, yet welcoming compositions.
As the years have gone by, the group have managed to go from strength to strength with each release, having issued their fourth album – Bulls and Roosters – back in 2017. Now, they’re gearing up to share their latest album, with new single “Nervous” showcasing just what is in store for the group.
Following on from singles such as “Marijuana”, “One Way or Another”, and “Nothing to Hide” in recent months, “Nervous” is pretty much what fans have come to expect from the group – pairing somewhat introspective lyricism with whip-smart alt-rock compositions and clever choruses. At its core, “Nervous” is Together Pangea at their finest, proving exactly why they’ve become a favourite of rock and indie fans the world over.
Working with William Keegan, Danny Bengston, and Erik Jimenez during the COVID-19 pandemic throughout 2020, “Nervous” and its other fellow singles are all set to appear on DYE, which is due for release on October 22nd.
Described as “an upbeat, undeniable collection of hooks, anthems, and power-pop garage-rock catchiness”, it follows that if you aren’t already a massive fan of Together Pangea, DYE might just get you on the bandwagon with minimal convincing.
Together Pangea’s “Nervous” is out now, while DYE will be released on October 22nd, with pre-orders available now.
