Snoop Dogg has announced a run of live dates as part of his ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ Australian arena tour – his first tour of the country since 2014.

The hip-hop legend has officially unveiled plans for several major indoor arena shows next year, which serves as his first visit to Australia since performing as Snoop Lion as part of the final Big Day Out tour back in early 2014.

Hailed by Rolling Stone as “America’s Most Lovable Pimp”; a hip-hop star that has survived gangsta rap, charmed Hollywood and won over soccer moms – a hip-hop family man who’s evolved from consummate thug to ultimate mack’, Snoop remains one of the biggest names in music, almost three decades into his career.

The ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ tour follows the release of Snoop’s 18th album, From tha Streets 2 tha Suites, which arrived earlier this year, yet is in celebration of his 17th album of the same name, which was released in 2019. That album was accompanied by a documentary which celebrated 25 years of Snoop Dogg – a career that has seen him cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance as a cultural icon, actor, and businessman.

The tour begins in Perth at the RAC Arena on October 26th, 2022, and then heads to Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne before wrapping up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on November 1st, 2022 (full dates below).

Pre-sale tickets will be available via Telstra Plus from this Friday, September 10th, 12pm (local time). General public tickets will then go on sale from Monday, September 13th, 4pm (local time) via Ticketek.
