Sia has become the latest artist to join in on the Tiger King frenzy, sharing the satirical track “Joe Exotic (Diva Cut)” on social media recently.
Ever since Netflix premiered their docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness last month, the life and times of Joe Exotic have become a huge point of interest for many fans of the series.
While countless memes, video tributes, and catchphrases have sprung up in the wake of the series’ premiere, a handful of artists have also began paying tribute to the show.
Notably, the Offspring covered “Here Kitty Kitty” just last week, performing the song that Exotic claims he wrote, but was actually penned by the Clinton Johnson Band.
Now, Australian-born Sia has become the latest act to set the series’ content to music, recently sharing her own track, “Joe Exotic (Diva Cut)”, on social media.

The minute-long clip sees Maddie Ziegler and Tonya Brewer delivering a satirical rap of the series’ content to the tune of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage”. While Sia also makes a guest appearance mid-way through, the lyrics of “Joe Exotic/Breeds tigers and lions, chaotic“, and a reference to Carole Baskin, more than accurately sums up the content that fans have rallied around.
Accompanied by a video entirely written, directed, and produced by Ziegler and Brewer, the video was accompanied by Sia’s urging for fans to donate to the Humane Society.
While “Joe Exotic (Diva Cut)” might seem like a left-field release, it comes following a number of weeks which gave rise to the #SavageChallenge, a viral trend which sees fans dancing to Megan Thee Stallion’s track of the same name.
