Four years on from their last public appearance, Australian pop-punk heroes Short Stack have announced a long-awaited reunion tour.

Having first formed in 2005, Short Stack quickly rose through the ranks of Australia’s pop-punk scene, performing relentlessly, and eventually going on to be named Channel V Oz Artist of the Year for 2008 prior to the release of their debut album, and once again in 2010.

Debuting at #1 with Stack is the New Black, the group followed it up with 2010’s This is Bat Country which, while still charting at #6, featured more of a rock-based approach to their sound. Unfortunately, this would be their last release for a few years, with the band releasing their third record one year after their split in 2012.

While a brief reformation in 2014 resulted in another album and live shows, Short Stack called it quits once again in early 2016, remaining relatively quiet until earlier this week, when they began to tease another return.

Now, frontman Shaun Diviney appears to be taking some well-earned time off from his career as a real estate agent to once again team up with bandmates Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb, with Short Stack announcing their first national tour in five years earlier today.

Kicking off in Brisbane on July 2nd, the group will relive their former glory as they play headline shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth, supported by Melbourne pop-punk outfit Between You & Me at all dates.

“I don’t think we’ve ever been more excited for a tour,” Diviney explained. “The early response has blown us away and we can’t wait to see everyone in July!”

Tickets to the upcoming tour are on sale from Thursday, February 13th, with a Frontier Touring Members pre-sale kicking off on Monday, February 10th. Read on for the full tour details.
