Shakira walked off the stage at a club in Miami after appearing to catch a rude fan filming up her skirt while she danced to her upcoming single, “Soltera.”

Shakira was at LIV Miami to preview “Soltera” and appeared to also be filming a video with Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons, and Danna. A fan-shot video captured the incident, during which Shakira was dancing on stage, then grabbed the hem of her dress and tugged it down after she spotted someone seemingly trying to film up her skirt.

Shakira then wagged two fingers at the crowd, tugged her dress again, and pointed to her eye as if saying, “I see you.” After putting her hands over her dress again, Shakira stopped for a moment, placed her hands on her hips, then danced a bit more. But after noticing the same person still trying to film up her skirt, she called for the music to cut and walked off the stage.

Shakira has yet to announce a release date for “Soltera,” which will be her first bit of new music since the arrival of her 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, back in March. In her recent Rolling Stone cover story, Shakira spoke about the album’s diverse array of sounds, saying it “evokes other stages of my musical journey, like the girl with the dark hair and the leather pants and bare feet.”

She continued: “So there are songs like ‘Cómo, Dónde y Cuándo’ that are very close to my essence and who I’ve always been musically, but it clearly shows an evolution in the way I feel.”

Shakira is gearing up for a massive North American tour in support of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which will begin in November and run through December. It’ll be her first tour since 2018, and she told RS, “I think this is going to be the biggest in my career so far, the most extensive, with the most range. It’s also going to be the longest,” with set times potentially clocking in at over two hours.
