Sam Barber is heading back Down Under in 2027.

The American country star has announced a seven-date Australian tour, kicking off in Perth on March 31st, before heading to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane. He will wrap up the visit with a headline appearance at Country Fest Queensland in Townsville on April 17th. See full dates below.

Barber will be joined by special guest Josiah and the Bonnevilles, who return to Australia following a headline tour last year.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public at 2pm on Wednesday, October 14th, following a fan presale from 10am and Frontier Touring member presale from 12pm on Tuesday, October 13th. All times are local. See here for details.

The upcoming run will mark Barber’s fourth visit to Australia and his first headline tour since 2025, when strong demand saw additional shows announced and venues upgraded across his eight-date run. This time around, the Missouri-born musician will take on some of his biggest Australian venues yet, including Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Brisbane’s Riverstage.

The announcement comes amid a remarkable rise for Barber, who has amassed more than 3.4 billion streams globally and established himself as one of country music’s most promising young artists. His latest album, Broken View, builds on the success of his 2024 debut, Restless Mind, which earned Gold certification in the US and featured the breakout singles “Straight and Narrow” and “Indigo”, featuring Avery Anna. The latter has surpassed 728 million global streams and cracked the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, helping introduce Barber’s music to an increasingly international audience.

Barber has also spent much of the past few years touring internationally, sharing stages with Bruce Springsteen and Ed Sheeran, appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show and CBS Saturday Morning, and contributing the track “Tear Us Apart” to the Twisters soundtrack.

Meanwhile, Josiah and the Bonnevilles will arrive with their latest album, As Is, which showcases both the stripped-back songwriting and anthemic live performances that have helped the project build a devoted following.
