In 2024, Sabrina Carpenter released “Espresso” just in time for Coachella not realizing it would become the defining hit of her career. But during her set, she did predict one thing right: her future headlining slot at the festival.

“Woman of my word,” the singer wrote in an Instagram post announcing the lineup for Coachella 2026. Alongside the caption, she shared a video from when she performed “Nonsense” there last year. “Coachella, see you back here when I headline,” she quipped during the personalized outro for the song.

Carpenter will hit the stage on Friday for both festival weekends. The XX, Disclosure, Ethel Cain, Teddy Swims, Devo, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, and girl groups BINI and Katseye will perform earlier in the day. Justin Bieber and Karol G will lead the Saturday and Sunday lineups.

“I feel really grateful that this has happened over the course of a lot of time of me figuring it out because it doesn’t feel like it was sprung up on me,” Carpenter told Rolling Stone last year about her not-so-sudden rise to the top. “It’s almost like I can just relax and be excited about it. I say Sabrina wasn’t built in a day.”

Earlier this year, ahead of her latest album Man’s Best Friend, Carpenter appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone. “If I really wanted to, I could have stretched out Short n’ Sweet much, much longer,” she said at the time. “But I’m at that point in my life where I’m like, ‘Wait a second, there’s no rules.’ If I’m inspired to write and make something new, I would rather do that. Why would I wait three years just for the sake of waiting three years? It’s all about what feels right. I’m learning to listen to that a lot more, instead of what is perceived as the right or wrong move.”

‘Brina knows best.
