Marking their second release of the year, Grammy Award-winning electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL drop the new single “Lately.”

The fresh cut follows June’s “Music Is Better“, their first new music in three years which the EDM stars debuted during a Coachella DJ set earlier in the year.

On “Lately”, RÜFÜS DU SOL return to their successful music recipe by combining heartfelt lyrics, indie vibes and a club bounce.

“It feels like I’m learning how to love again,” sings Tyrone Lindqvist.

“Lately” is “another window into the band’s new creative groove,” reads a statement, “an era that is defined by enjoying the process and creating from the now while binding organic and electronic.”

Surrender, the Sydney trio’s fourth and most recent studio album, was an international breakout. The LP hit #1 on the ARIA Chart, earned the act a fifth ARIA Award, and its single “Alive” collected a Grammy in 2022 for best dance/electronic recording.

The group supported the album with a major worldwide tour which sold an estimated 700,000 tickets in 60 cities, and saw RÜFÜS DU SOL headline stadium shows in the United States.

Also, the musicians have launched a boutique festival, Sundream, which held its second edition in Tulum and Baja, Mexico back in May.

In celebration of the new release, RÜFÜS DU SOL members James Hunt and Jon George performed a set alongside Jimi Jules on Thursday, 1st August in London. As it stands, their only headline live show this year is scheduled for late September at San Francisco’s Portola Festival.

“Lately” is out now via Rose Avenue/Warner. Stream it in full below.
