In a year when live music has been lacking, Rolling Stone has now unveiled a brief ray of sunshine, announcing its forthcoming Ladies of Soul Revue.
Set to take place at View by Sydney on October 30th and November 6th, the intimate evening will feature a five-course ‘soul food’ dinner with wine and cocktail pairing, and boasts performances from the likes of Prinnie Stevens, Karen Lee Andrews, and more, as they pay tribute to the finest female icons of the soul genre.
Featuring the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, and Tina Turner, the event aims to feed the soul through a luscious evening of music and cultural influence, paired with incredible cuisine and stunning views of the Sydney Harbour.
While many venues around the country remain closed due to restrictions brought on by a global pandemic, the Rolling Stone Ladies of Soul Revue aims to bring back the electric feeling of a night out, and the magical feeling of soul music and the genre’s biggest names, combining the two to create an evening which is more than just dinner and a show, rather, it becomes an unforgettable experience.
The first of the Ladies of Soul evenings take place on Friday, October 30th at the View by Sydney, with tickets available via Moshtix. The second event takes place the following week, on Friday, November 6th, with tickets also on sale now, and full details available below.
