Six months on from the release of their critically-acclaimed second record, Melbourne outfit Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have detailed their long-awaited album launch tour.
Sharing Sideways to New Italy at the start of June, the group’s new record came off the back of a tumultuous start to the year which saw the group unable to play a “life-affirming” support slot for the Pixies due to the advent of a global pandemic.
Unfortunately, the restrictions placed upon gatherings also made it impossible for the group to announce any live shows upon the release of their record. Now, with smaller-scale performances such as an appearance on Rolling Stone’s ‘In My Room’ series helping to satiate the appetites of fans in the meantime, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have now been able to unveil the dates for their long-awaited album tour.
Set to take place in April and May of 2021, the seven-show tour sees the group performing throughout Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne, and Sydney, before wrapping things up with a show in Canberra on May 22nd.
Tickets to the band’s upcoming tour go on sale from 10am local time on Thursday, December 10th, with a Frontier Touring members pre-sale beginning at 10am on Tuesday, December 8th, and running for 24 hours.
