Before kicking off his stadium tour of Australia and New Zealand, Robbie Williams is confirmed to perform on Melbourne Cup Day this November.
Announced on Saturday, the UK music legend will take to the Elms Live stage after the last race on Tuesday, November 3rd, to deliver a set that will include “Let Me Entertain You,” and “Angels.”
“Australia, I’m coming in hot,” Williams said.
“Lexus Melbourne Cup Day will be my first stop before the BRITPOP Australian Tour, and I’m ready to make it unforgettable. Expect big songs, big energy and a massive celebration after the race that stops the nation.”
“Robbie Williams is a global music superstar, and having him perform at Flemington for the first time is the perfect way to celebrate the prestige and significance of Lexus Melbourne Cup Day,” Victoria Racing Club CEO Kylie Rogers added.
“We can’t wait to welcome Robbie and give fans a chance to enjoy the incredible energy, charisma, and world-class entertainment that has made him one of the most successful performers of his generation.”
Australian DJ FISHER is also confirmed to perform at the course on November 7th.
