Reneé Rapp has announced she will be heading to Australia for the first time ever in 2026.

The US musician and actress has today been confirmed on the line up for the 2026 AO Live at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Saturday, January 31st.

Rapp joins a bill, which takes place at the Australian Open, that already includes the likes of The Kid LAROI and Spacey Jane, electronic music superstar Peggy Gou, pop icons The Veronicas, and US duo Sofi Tukker.

It is currently unclear if Rapp will announce more shows during her trip to Australia. Rolling Stone AU/NZ has contacted promoters for comment.

Tickets to AO Live 2026, which start from $99, are on sale mow. Click here for more details.

The news comes after the North Carolina born songwriter postponed two shows on her current US tour on doctor’s orders.

“In my career I have never had to do this before — but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow’s shows,” she wrote on an Instagram Story.

“I’ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out. My doctors have told me that it isn’t safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.” In the same post, Rapp announced that the Tampa show would now take place Nov. 4, while the one in Atlanta is now scheduled for Nov. 5.

Up until these rescheduled shows, Rapp’s Bite Me tour had been moving along since it launched in late September. Rapp played her first headlining shows at major venues like New York’s Madison Square Garden and Brooklyn’s Barclay Center, with a set list heavy on songs from her current Bite Me album; at select shows, she also slipped in covers of Beyoncé “Ego,” Keyshia Cole’s “Love,” and Rihanna’s “James Joint.”
